The DSPs on the development boards are selected to use the most feature-rich version of each core so developers can target multiple members of each core with varying levels of resource. Developer Starter Kits ( DSKs ) include entry-level versions of an embedded JTAG emulator and Code Composer Studio that only work with the DSK board itself.
